Waste Pro’s central Florida Region has been awarded a seven (7) year exclusive contract with multi-year renewal options for all of the residential and commercial solid waste collection services for the City of Winter Park, Florida. The contract also includes single family and multi-family recycling services. Waste Pro was selected in an RFP (Request for Proposal) process where points were assigned based upon experience, past service history, price, proposal professionalism and innovations in service concepts. Waste Pro far exceeded its competitors in all of the service, experience, professionalism and innovations segments and accumulated 35% more in ratings than the nearest competitor. Waste Pro was selected over the two (2) largest companies in the US. The contract starts on May 1, 2009.

Another New Location for Waste Pro USA
Waste Pro continues its dynamic growth. Hollywood, Florida is Waste Pro’s newest service location. This now brings Waste Pro’s total number of locations to 32. This location was opened officially on February 2, 2009 in conjunction with the start up of a new 10-year exclusive contract for residential services serving 32,000 homes for the city of Hollywood. This new addition brings the number of long term municipal contracts now up to 82. This new facility is a platform for further expansion in the extensive solid waste and recycling market in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
